Violet blue Mexican mosaic flower pot with hand-cut Talavera tiles and accent tile pieces.
5 1/2” diam. x 4 1/4" tall
Pot has a drainage hole.
PROCESS: Hand-cut pottery pieces and tiles were applied to a terra cotta pot. The pot was grouted and then sealed with a professional grade sealant to resist water and stains. Pot was wiped clean and tiles were buffed with a soft cloth.
RECOMMENDED USE: To ensure many years of use, I recommend placing your plant in a plastic container before putting it into the flower pot. The pot should be brought indoors in freezing temperatures or in periods of extended rain. Hand-cut tiles sometimes have sharp edges so please handle with care.
Happy growing!
NOTE: I collect Mexican folk art and Mexican pottery. Through the years, thanks to one mishap or another, I have amassed a few broken pieces that I am now incorporating into my mosaics. See last photo. The old Mexican shards are getting a nueva vida (new life). I hope you enjoy them as much as I do making them!
Shipping within U.S.: $10. All others, please inquire.
